Thanks to the amazing community and foundational support Pacific Youth Choir continues to change lives. Research shows that a strong correlation exists between music education and brain development. In 2009, Chorus America commissioned a study on the explicit role of choral music experience in childhood development. The report indicates that choir participation helps make students better participants in groups, helps develop stronger social skills, leads to better emotional expression and management, improves overall academic performance, and helps instill self-discipline and punctuality.
