Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Commensurate with experience
Full-time, salaried position with 11 paid holidays, 3 weeks vacation and health care benefits. Variable hybrid work schedule and environment, which includes flexible M-F business hours and evening and weekend in-person commitments.
The Life of PYC’s Executive Director
The Executive Director is the Pacific Youth Choir’s (PYC) chief executive officer who will serve as a strategic partner to the Artistic Director. Reporting directly to the board of directors, the Executive Director will generate diversified portfolios of earned and contributed revenue and develop engaging marketing and fundraising strategies. The Executive Director will be a relationship builder, long-term planner, and management strategist, able to operationalize the Artistic Director’s vision and produce the resources, organizational structures, and institutional visibility necessary to achieve it.
The Executive Director will delight in youth choral music, education and performance, and be able to share this enthusiasm with stakeholders, funders, partners, families, and the local community. They will be an effective storyteller able to articulate a compelling case for supporting PYC’s programs, choristers, and impact.
Pacific Youth Choir’s mission is to change lives through high level choral artistry in an open, joyful, and nurturing environment. Through practice, performance, and education, singers build their skills and emerge as confident young adults with a lifelong love of music.
