Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Kristian grew up in Sandy, Oregon, where he graduated from Sandy High School. Kristian proceeded to attend Pacific University where he obtained his Bachelor’s in Music Education with a Minor in Psychology. While at Pacific, he performed with the Chamber Singers under the direction of Scott Tuomi, worked in the admissions office meeting with potential new students, and threw javelin for the men’s track and field team.

After graduating in 2022, Kristian was awarded the William Wright Harts III Memorial Award for his work with the music department, mentoring other students, and taking an active role in the Pacific community. He is currently singing with the Oregon Chorale under the direction of Jason Sabino and starting his third year teaching choir at St. Helens Middle School in the fall.
